QMS Polyglycolic Acid Absorbable Suture

The QMS Rapid Polyglycolic Acid Absorbable Sutures are braided and coated synthetic surgical sutures, indicated for superficial closure of soft tissues, skin and mucosa, in procedures where suture removal is not required.

Manufactured from polyglycolic acid and coated with polycaprolactone and calcium stearate, they ensure smooth tissue passage, excellent knot security and minimal tissue reaction. Absorption occurs by hydrolysis in a rapid and predictable manner.
