Supramid is a synthetic non-absorbable suture made of Polyamide (Nylon), designed to combine high mechanical strength with excellent handling properties.
In size 2/0, it features a pseudo-monofilament structure, consisting of a multifilament Polyamide 6.6 core coated with a Polyamide 6 sheath. This design provides monofilament-like surface characteristics while maintaining the strength of a multifilament core.
